Terry Martin, Producing Artistic Director for WaterTower Theatre, today announced details of the 2nd annual COMMUNITY CAST PARTY. The party will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at WaterTower Theatre from 7 pm to midnight. THE COMMUNITY CAST PARTY, sponsored by Frost Bank, is designed to attract a wide audience of patrons who are interested in supporting WaterTower Theatre while enjoying an evening of entertainment with cuisine offered from many fine local restaurants. Attendees will have a unique opportunity to mix and mingle with many artists from the DFW acting community at the "open house" style event, and everyone is welcome.
The entertainment will feature cellist Jordan Cleaver, performances of Broadway style music in The Studio Theatre hosted by Matt Ransdell with Zak Reynolds, Calvin Scott Roberts, Sarah Elizabeth Smith, Wendy and Willy Welch. Mark Mullino will be accompanying the performers on piano. Kathryn Taylor Rose will perform her one-woman cabaret show entitled Love Me, Tinder and Adam C. Wright will be accompanying her. The improv group, The Laugh Supper, will also be performing. Later in the evening, there will be an open mic portion too.
Featured restaurants offering cuisine tastings include Table 13, The Egg and I Restaurant, Morrison's, Dough Bro's, The Mucky Duck, The Addison Ice House, Union Park Restaurant, Suga's Cakery, Outback, D'Sweets, Puerta Vallarta, Lakewood Brewery, Goody Goody Liquor and more.
Tickets are $50 per person. An "industry" ticket and a Young Professional's ticket, for those age 35 and under, is being offered to those working in the arts at $25 per person. Tickets are on sale now. Tickets will be available online at www.watertowertheatre.org, by phone by calling 972-450-6232, or in-person at the WaterTower Theatre box office located at 15650 Addison Road, Addison, Texas 75001. A portion of the ticket is tax-deductible. THE COMMUNITY CAST PARTY is a "fun"-raising event and all funds go to support WaterTower Theatre's artistic and education programs.

April Bosworth joined the WaterTower Theatre Board of Directors in 2012. April Bosworth joined the WaterTower Theatre Board of Directors in 2012. She is also currently the Chair of Women of WaterTower Theatre. April has been actively involved with the Spotlight Gala for many years having served as Gala Chair, Chair of the Live and Silent Auctions and Décor Committees on many occasions. An influential business leader and fundraiser, April has chaired numerous fundraising events for many other non-profit organizations including the Dallas Summer Musicals, the Mother of the Year Luncheon and Richardson Symphony League to name a few. Stan Graner joined the WaterTower Theatre Board of Directors in 2013. He currently serves as the Chair of the WaterTower Theatre Development Committee. A well-known, critically acclaimed actor, Stan is an eight-time winner of The Column Award. He served as Vice President of the Turtle Creek Chorale from 1992-1994. Stan has performed in a number of plays at WaterTower Theatre, including Black Tie, The Diary of Anne of Frank and August: Osage County.
Corky Pledger is a long-time resident of Dallas and the Addison-area. She currently serves on the WaterTower Theatre Board of Directors. She also serves on the board of the Addison Business Association, the Metrocrest Chamber of Commerce, and The Civic League among others. She is a member of the WOW! Steering Committee, the Community Cast Party Steering Committee and has been involved in WaterTower Theatre's Spotlight Gala every year since its inception.
Debbie Staggs is the Director of Marketing and Special Events at Million Air Dallas in Addison. She joined the WaterTower Theatre Board of Directors last year. She has been actively involved in many WaterTower Theatre activities and currently serves on the Steering Committee for Women of WaterTower Theatre. A highly influential community leader, Debbie served as past Director of Programs and Membership for the Farmers Branch Chamber of Commerce and was on the Board of the Metrocrest Chamber of Commerce to name a few.
