WaterTower Theatre holding auditions for musical 'Guys and Dolls'

The WaterTower Theatre Company and Dallas Wind Symphony will be holding auditions for the musical Guys and Dolls this Sat., Jun. 20 from 11 am - 6 pm at the Addison Theatre Centre, located at 15650 Addison Road, Addison, Texas.

Frank Loesser's hilarious romantic comedy - considered by many to be the perfect musical comedy - soars with the spirit of Broadway as two couples bet on love despite the long odds. The show includes legendary hits like Luck Be A Lady, Adelaide's Lament, and Sit Down, You're Rockin' the Boat.

With book by Jo Swerling & Abe Burrows, music and lyrics by Frank Loesser in one of the most unforgettable scores in the history of Broadway, this production is being directed by James Paul Lemons with music direction from James McQuillen and choreography by Paula Morelan.

The following roles are available:

  • Sky Masterson, male, age 25 - 40
  • Nathan Detroit, male, age 30 - 40
  • Sarah Brown, female, age 20 - 35
  • Miss Adelaide, female, age 25 - 40
  • Nicely-Nicely Johnson, male, age 30 - 40
  • Ensemble of 10 men and 10 women

Those auditioning are asked to:

  • Bring 16 bars each of two contrasting songs with sheet music (accompanist will be provided)
  • Headshot/resume
