"That production of Our Town in Evergreen, Alabama, some 40 years ago had such a riveting effect on me that it was without question the driving force that led me into a life-long career in the theatre. It has long been an ambition to direct this play and I feel privileged to also be playing the role of the Stage Manager in the WaterTower Theatre production."Our Town premiered in 1938 and won the Pulitzer Prize that year. Ever since, Our Town has been performed all over the world, and is currently enjoying a long run in New York. Our Town has become a much beloved classic and is, perhaps, the most frequently produced play by an American playwright.
