She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion Design from the University of North Texas. She owns her own company, Ambiance Art and Interiors, which focuses on corporate interior design. Anita serves on the March of Dimes Signature Chefs of Dallas Committee and, with Shannon Brame, is Co-Chairing this year's Culinary Committee. Anita's husband, Tom, recently completed his third term as a Councilman on the Addison Town Council.
Barbara Daseke is President of Barbara Elliott Interiors, a design firm specializing in luxury hotels and high-end homes across the country. Her most recent interior design projects have included homes in Palm Desert, CA and Colorado Springs, CO; condominiums in Dallas; and a new hotel near Scottsdale, AZ. Community service and volunteering are very important to Barbara. She serves on the board of TACA, a non-profit organization supporting the performing arts of North Texas, and is also on the board of the Dallas Symphony. Barbara works on many fundraising projects for Women of WaterTower Theatre (WOW!), the Dallas Symphony, the Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas Contemporary, Kidney Texas and Diffa. Barbara's husband, Don, is the Past President and past Chairman of the Board for WaterTower Theatre.
