WAITRESS Cast Album Karaoke Announced for This Friday Image

Due to the success of WAITRESS' "Cast Album Karaoke" on Broadway, following the Friday, April 6 evening performance at the Music Hall at Fair Park, audience members will have a chance to sing on the Music Hall stage. Now's the chance to live your Broadway dream! Interested audience members will be chosen at random for the chance to sing one minute of any song in the show accompanied by the musical director following that evening's performance.

Friday's event will be hosted by Ron Corning from WFAA Daybreak and WAITRESS cast member Jim Hogan.

WAITRESS opened on Broadway at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street) in 2016. Based upon the 2007 motion picture written by Adrienne Shelly, WAITRESS is the first Broadway musical in history to have four women in the four top creative team spots, with a book by Jessie Nelson, a score by five-time Grammy Award-nominated singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles, choreography by Lorin Latarro and direction by Tony Award-winner Diane Paulus.

Single tickets for the Dallas Summer Musicals engagement of WAITRESS, starting at $20 (pricing subject to change), are now on sale at DallasSummerMusicals.org or by phone at 1 (800) 745-3000. They can also be purchased in person at the Music Hall at Fair Park Box Office Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
