Uptown Players Closes Season With BREATHE, Runs 10/9-11/7 At The KD Studio Theatre

Uptown Players closes its 2009 season with the musical breathe, held October 9 - November 7, 2009, at the KD Studio Theatre in Dallas.

breathe is an award-winning collection of seven short musical stories that celebrate gay and lesbian life. Full of a life-loving spirituality, its deeply felt celebration of humanity is a bittersweet antidote to the modern ailment of cynicism. breathe has the power to penetrate even the most hardened of hearts..

The cast includes Brandi Andrade, Souk Burrows, Sergio Garcia, Katherine Gentsch, Carlos Gomez, Stephanie Hall, Summer Kenny, Gregory Lush, Thomas Renner and Michael Tuck. This production is under the direction of Bruce Coleman, with music direction by Scott A. Eckert and choreography by Kelly McCain.

breathe runs October 9 - November 7, 2009, with performances at 8 p.m. on Thursday through Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons at 2 p.m. (no performances October 11, 15 and 31). Performances take place at the KD Studio Theatre, located at 2600 North Stemmons Freeway #180, Dallas, TX 75207.
