Theatre Three Opens 2018-19 Season With Double Feature HEISENBERG and ACTUALLY ImageTheatre Three opens its 2018-19 season with a double feature of HEISENBERG and ACTUALLY.

People are shaped by past experiences. Entrancing first encounters with attractive strangers on trains leave a smile on our faces, a memory waiting to tell all. Troubling matters over sexual consent (or lack-there-of) leave a scar sometimes too deep to cover, a wound we desperately try to wrap in as many layers as we can find.

Produced together, these two plays will spark a thrilling conversation as it relates to sex, desire, and the ages of man and woman. Schmidt states, "This is an evening stripped down to the bare essentials of playmaking and storytelling: a blank stage, 4 actors, 2 scripts and the audience." He continues, "And in that simplicity, you get to really soak in this grand adventure we call Life. It's ephemeral. And, at any age, it's an experience worth sharing with someone else. "

Heisenberg, written by Tony Award-winning Playwright of The Curious Incident..., follows the unexpected aftermath of a brash and surprising kiss between two strangers on a crowded London train while Actually dives deep into the murky waters of sexual ethics, evidence, and unveiling truths on a college campus. Does a need for affection, love, and intimacy change as we age?

Heisenberg is directed by Theatre Three Artistic Director Jeffrey Schmidt and stars Kieran Connolly (Alex Priest) and Jessica Cavanagh (Georgie Burns). Actually is directed by Katy Tye and stars Aaron Jay Green (Tom) and Edna Gill (Amber).
