The evergreen Bellamy Brothers hit song, "Let Your Love Flow," written by Larry Wilson, was featured in AMERICAN MADE, a major release from Universal Pictures this year, with the duo taking their eponymously titled tour to Africa later this month.
AMERICAN MADE reunites Tom Cruise with his EDGE OF TOMORROW director, Doug Liman, who also directed THE BOURNE IDENTITY and MR AND MRS SMITH/ The international escapade is based on the outrageous - and real - exploits of a hustler and pilot unexpectedly recruited by the CIA to run one of the biggest covert operations in the history of the United States of America. The film co-stars Domhnall Gleeson, Sarah Wright, E. Roger Mitchell, Jesse Plemons, Lola Kirke, Alejandro Edda, Benito Martinez, Caleb Landry Jones and Jayma Mays.
David Bellamy said that "Let Your Love Flow" was their first major hit worldwide:
We are really honoured that the producers decided to use "Let Your Love Flow" in this very successful Tom Cruise Movie, AMERICAN MADE. Over the years this has been one of our most favourite hit songs, but then our songs are like our children - you never have a favourite child. They are all so special!
