Texas Ballet Theater (TBT) will present Cleopatra September 28-30 at Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth, Texas with live accompaniment from The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra.
Cleopatra tells the story of the alluring, Egyptian queen - one of the most well-known women in history. Audiences will be swept away by Cleopatra's famous charm and her impressive rise to power. Complete with murder plots, fantastical sets, and vibrant colors, Ben Stevenson's Cleopatra follows the path of the "last queen of Egypt" as she forces her way to the throne and captivates the hearts of the two most powerful men at the time - Julius Caesar and Marc Antony.
The full-length ballet has two acts and lasts approximately two hours, including a 20-minute intermission. This performance is recommended for ages 13 and up. Tickets range from $20-$125 and are available at www.texasballettheater.org or 877.828.9200.
