"Thou shalt see Red, White, and Tuna and thou shalt laugh as you realize, with a sense of awe and shame, that you know these people, that you live with some of them, and the rest are your neighbors." Laura L. Watson of John Garcia's The Column
"It's a two-thumbs up. The tickets are reasonable in price. There isn't really a bad seat in the house. It's a funny show with two extremely talented actors. Kudos to the techs as well, and the dressers who assist in keeping up the pace with some fast and amusing costuming work. Go check it out. Then make plans to go see a great show. Want a drink afterwards? There's a place you walk around the corner to." Leah Patton
"After getting to see the "original" Tuna episode at FMPAT about two years ago, I continued to search for other performances of the Tuna series. Last year, we were excited to see the Eisemann center in Richardson playing the "Christmas" episode (with Jaston Williams and Joe Sears starring). Though it was a fine performance and a beautiful venue (and we even had front-row seats), our family jumped at the chance to return to FMPAT for the "Independence Day" episode last week.
We all agreed that we preferred the smaller venue of FMPAT with the more personal approach (no microphones on the actors) and even the character portrayal from Chris and Ryan over Jaston and Joe (that's probably heresy, I know). In fact, we were so eager to share the experience that we invited parents and grandparents to join us! Even though we live on the far Northeast corner of the Metroplex, the drive to FMPAT is worthwhile for the small-theater ambience and high performance quality provided by FMPAT and their actors." Did you know that FMPAT is the place to catch your favorite performers up close? Why sit in the 27th row, when you can be in the 2nd row for a fraction of the cost? Also, for those on a tight budget, we do have our 'Act of Faith' (pay-what-you-can-cash only) ticket offer for available seats at curtain time. There is no reason to miss this great and FUN performance event!
