STARLIGHT EXPRESS opens at Artisan Center Theater on Friday, August 12, 2016 and runs through Saturday, September 3, 2016. The 196 seat theater-in-the-round is located at 444 East Pipeline Road in Hurst. Performances are at 7:30pm on Monday, Tuesday,Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with 3:00pm matinees on Saturdays beginning August 20. Reserved seating tickets are $22.00 for adults, $20.00 for students and seniors, and $11.00 for children 12 and under. Monday through Thursday tickets are $20.00 for adults and $9.00 for children 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased online at ArtisanCT.com, or by calling the box office at 817-284-1200.

You've heard of Andrew Lloyd Webber's CATS, now come see his musical about TRAINS! One of the liveliest rock/pop scores in Broadway history, it tells the story of Rusty the Steam Train, and his underdog attempting to defeat his rivals Greaseball and Electra and (and maybe get the attention of pretty first-class coach, Pearl, along the way)! It's a thrilling chase around and through the audience as a dozen trains race to decide who wins the title of the "Fastest Engine in the World!"

STARLIGHT EXPRESS is a Youth Exclusive Main Stage Production featuring youth ages 10-25. The show will be interpreted for the deaf and hard of hearing on Tuesday, August 16 at 7:30pm.

Artisan Center Theater produces seven big Broadway style musicals in their 195-seat theater-in-the-round. Artisan also stages eight additional productions, four classic plays and four musical revues, on the new 150-seat thrust stage located on Second Stage. Also on Second Stage, Artisan Children's Theater produces seven children's shows each year where children perform for children.
