STAGE KISS is the 4th Show In Circle Theatre's 2018 Season ImageCircle Theatre announces the fourth show of their 2018 Season: Sarah Ruhl's, Stage Kiss. As previously announced, Circle's original fourth show (Out of the Mouth of Babes, by Israel Horovitz), was dropped after multiple, sexual misconduct allegations against the playwright. Executive Director, Tim Long, says, "We could not in good conscience produce his play. We are saddened by this development, but encouraged by the stories of these brave women." Stage Kiss will run from August 16 through September 15, 2018.

About the Play Art imitates Life. Life imitates Art. When two actors with a history are thrown together as romantic leads in a forgotten 1930s melodrama, they quickly lose touch with reality as the story onstage follows them offstage. Sarah Ruhl pens a charming tale about what happens when lovers share a stage kiss-or when actors share a real one.

Circle's production is directed by Emily Scott Banks. Casting will be announced at a later date. Visit http://circletheatre.com/shows/Kiss for more information. Stage Kiss is presented by special arrangement with Samuel French.
