Rover Dramaworks to Present SHERLOCK HOLMES AND THE WEST END HORROR

Rover Dramawerks concludes their 17th Season with the new mystery Sherlock Holmes and the West End Horror by Anthony Dodge and Martha Milgrom Dodge. Performances will be at Rover's theatre in Plano, located in Ruisseau Village at 221 W. Parker Rd, Suite 580, at the northwest corner of Parker and 75. Performances run October 26 - November 18, 2017 on Thursdays and Fridays at 8:00 p.m. and on Saturdays at 3:00 and 8:00 p.m.

A theatre critic has been murdered! Sherlock Holmes and John Watson (played by David Noel and Deron Wade) are soon visited by aspiring Irish playwright George Bernard Shaw (Gary Eoff), who entices Holmes to take the case. Featuring some of the most famous literary luminaries of the day, this is a rollicking whodunit! Rounding out the ensemble cast are Cody Bagshaw, Chad Bell, Chris Castillo, Pælor Cuihn, Nancy Lamb, and Klarice McCarron, all playing multiple characters.

Paul McKenzie serves as director and sound designer, with set design by Abby Kipp-Roberts. Lighting design is by Maxim Overton, with video provided by StEve Roberts. Costume and makeup/hair design is by Shanna Gobin, with props designed by Terrie W. Justus.

Thursday, October 26 is Preview Night, with all seats $10.00 in advance online or "pay-what-you-can" at the door. Following the show on Friday, October 27, Rover will host their First FridayINSIDERS reception, where patrons can meet the cast, director, and designers.

Ticket prices for Sherlock Holmes and the West End Horror are $22.00 Friday and Saturdaynights and $16.00 on Thursdays and matinees, with $2.00 discounts for students and seniors. Group rates are also available. Tickets may be ordered online at www.roverdramawerks.com.
