Rover Dramawerks will conclude their 14th Season with the regional premiere of the mystery/comedy Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Jersey Lily by Katie Forgette at their new theatre venue in Plano, located in Ruisseau Village at 221 W. Parker Rd, Suite 580, at the northwest corner of Parker and 75. Performances are September 11 - October 4, with shows on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m., plus an additional matinee performance on Saturday, September 20 at 2:00 p.m.
The cunning of Sherlock Holmes (played by Robert Gemaihlich) and his stalwart partner, Dr. John Watson (played by Andreas Robichaux), meet the wit of Oscar Wilde (Michael Baker) and the lovely, charming actress, Mrs. Lillie Langtry (Sara Blair), as they seek to solve a compelling mystery in this exciting new play involving blackmail, theatre, love...and Holmesian villains aplenty, including the infamous Moriarty (P. Lynwood Henry). Rounding out the cast are Jessica Adame and Andrew Langston.
Rick Tuman serves as director, with Ashley Morris-Johnson as Stage Manager. Set design is by Dave Tenney with lighting design by Jack Piland and sound design by Andy Duckworth. Costumes are by Suzi Cranford, hair/makeup design is by Roxi Taylor, and props are by Terrie W. Justus. Fight choreography is by Joseph Taylor and Yvonne Vautier DeDay serves as dialect coach.
Tickets for Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Jersey Lily are $16.00 on Thursdays and the one matinee and $20.00 on Fridays and Saturdays. Thursday, September 11 is Preview Night, and all seats are $10.00 in advance online or "pay-what-you-can" at the door.
