Rover Dramawerks will continue their 14th Season with Out of Sterno by Deborah Zoe Laufer. This quirky comedy will open their new theatre venue in Plano, located in Ruisseau Village at 221 W. Parker Rd, Suite 580, at the northwest corner of Parker and 75. Performances are February 6 through March 1, with shows on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m., with an additional matinee performance on Saturday, February 15 at 2:00 p.m.
In Out of Sterno, Caitlin Mills Duree plays Dotty, whose life is absolutely perfect! In the seven years she's been married to Hamel (Ian Moore), she has never left her apartment...but then she receives a mysterious phone call and her life is changed forever. Also featuring Veronica Day as the mystery woman, Zena, and Aaron Sanchez as the other eight characters.
Gillian Salerno-Rebic serves as director, with Kary Cardenas as Stage Manager. Set design is by Charles Wallace with lighting and sound design by Kenneth Farnsworth. Costumes and hair/make-up are by Shanna Gobin, and props are by Terrie W. Justus.
Tickets for Out of Sterno are $16.00 on Thursdays and the one matinee and $20.00 on Fridays and Saturdays. Thursday, February 6 is Preview Night, and all seats are $10.00 in advance online or "pay-what-you-can" at the door.
