Wally Jones, President and Executive Producer is proud to announce the regional premiere of Oswald: The Actual Interrogation by Dennis Richard, as part of the 2013-2014 Broadway at Casa Mañana Season, tonight, November 9-17, 2013. Single tickets are now on sale.
This compelling new play delves into the history and controversy surrounding the 48 hours Lee Harvey Oswald was in the custody of the Dallas Police Department after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Based on notes from the actual interrogation by Police Captain Will Fritz and the Warren Commission, this explosive new drama depicts the actual interrogation of suspect number one, Lee Harvey Oswald, as this defiant 24 year old maintains his innocence even as evidence mounts against him.
As we approach November 2013 and the 50th anniversary of the assassination of President Kennedy, all eyes will be on North Texas. "Given the close ties Oswald held with Fort Worth, Casa was the perfect choice to produce this new, historically accurate play. Casa Mañana is committed to educating the community by producing thought-provoking new work" says Jones.
