The Plano Children's Theatre has announced their full schedule of free events and performances for a week of "World Theatre Day," from March 22nd to March 27th. The events will include a number of instructional workshops, as well as performances.

Jennifer Pearcy Edwards holds a MFA in acting, Lecoq based theatre, from Naropa University/London International School of Performing Arts and a BFA from the College of Santa Fe. She is the founder of London based Infectious Theatre Company.
Brad McEntire holds an MFA in Playwriting from TWU and a BFA in Acting from the College of Santa Fe. He has been teaching, directing and acting at PCT for nearly a decade.
Sara Akers is the founder of Plano Children's Theatre/McKinney Youth Theatre. She holds an MFA in Children's Theatre and Creative Drama from the University of Texas and a BFA from SMU in Dance.
Danny Miranda is a company member of Richardson Repertory Theatre and a resident actor in PCT's Touring Productions.
Jeff Swearingen is a highly acclaimed actor in area theatre, the winner of two Column awards for Best Actor, as well as The Dallas Observer's choice for Best Comedic Actor of 2009. He has been directing, teaching and acting at PCT for a decade.
Florence Olsen is a local fine artist.
Audacity Theatre Lab is dedicated to the development and production of dynamic new works for the stage. Having staged more than 50 productions, their Hello Human Female snagged a Critics Choice Award for Best New Play, a spot on 2009's Top 10 in local theatre and numerous accolades for its cast.
Motley Players III is a hilarious improv troupe that has made PCT's Black Box Theatre a home, performing there once monthly. They also perform at Scarborough Faire.
