Kitchen Café was proud to present the Dallas debut of Jim Caruso's Cast Party on Thursday and Friday, May 22 and 23. The two sold-out evenings celebrated extraordinary talent from the musical theater, jazz and cabaret communities. As always, Caruso hosted, along with musical director/singer/accompanist Billy Stritch at the piano. Scroll down for photos from the concerts!

The next Cast Party/Dallas will take place in September. Called an "extreme open mic" by ABC-TV, Jim Caruso''s Cast Party is a wildly popular event that has been bringing Broadway glitz and urbane wit to the legendary Birdland in NYC every Monday for the past ten years. The hilarious impromptu evening has also been celebrating local talent in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Chicago, Austin, and on the high seas.
