NEWSIES is a wonderful feel good show based on a true event in which a group of Newsies went on strike to protest the treatment of children and labor at the turn of the 20th century. It is a true David and Goliath story. The show is full of high energy dancing and rock anthems that will have the audience wanting to sing along. All ages will enjoy the music and the message of NEWSIES,

MYO Youth Theatre is currently in its 8th season operating independently as a 501c3 program. MYO is unique in that it follows a community theatre model of operation. Students don't pay tuition, buy their own costumes, or are forced to sell tickets to be able to perform. Last season included Pippin, Heathers, and Runaways as a part of their regular season. The MYO program welcomes all levels of performers and has a mission to provide low cost, high quality performing opportunities. over the years the MYO program has turned out a number of professionals in theatre including actors, producers, stage managers, and college level instructors. This season includes Into the Woods, Children of Eden, and Alice in Wonderland, jr. among other shows.
