Performing Arts Fort Worth invites you to take "A Spoonful of Magic" as it proudly announces the remainder of its 2011-2012 season at Bass Performance Hall. The season will include performances by Joan Rivers, Garrison Keillor, Lewis Black, Jimmie Vaughan, Jim Brickman, Carol Burnett and Paco de Lucia.

In addition to the Broadway at the Bass series, announced in June, Performing Arts Fort Worth is presenting four returning series, Family Series at the Bass, Broadway Specials, Special Attractions, Popular Entertainment, as well as two new series, Broadway Off Bass at McDavid and McDavid Studio Concert Series. All performances in the latter two series will take place at McDavid Studio, adjacent to Bass Hall.

"I believe this is our strongest season yet," says Dione Kennedy, President and CEO of Performing Arts Fort Worth. "When we started planning our new season, we kept in mind diversity - offering something for everyone. We have the big Broadway shows like Mary Poppins and Irving Berlin's White Christmas, music favorites Robert Earl Keen and Michael Martin Murphey, comedians like Carol Burnett and family shows such as Junie B. Jones. Plus, we're launching two new series at McDavid Studio. Needless to say, we are very excited about the upcoming season - and we're hoping our patrons will be, too."

The Broadway at the Bass series is accompanied by a three-show Broadway Specials add-on series, made up of The Wizard of Oz, The Midtown Men and Young Frankenstein. Those who purchase season subscriptions to either the Broadway at the Bass or Family Series at the Bass can purchase tickets to the Broadway Specials - and receive discounts on those tickets - before they go on sale to the general public.

As in past seasons, more performances will be added as the season goes on.

Listed by series, the schedule for the 2011-2012 Performing Arts Fort Worth season:
