Pegasus Theatre kicks off its 29th season with a production of REHEARSAL FOR MURDER! by Kurt Kleinmann. REHEARSAL FOR MURDER! is another entry in the popular Living Black & White series of plays that chronicle the adventures of Harry Hunsacker, would-be actor turned would-be detective, Nigel Grouse, Harry's paid-by-the-hour assistant and friend, and Lt. Foster of the real police. The production will begin Sneak Preview Performances on December 29, 2013 and open officially on Thursday, January 2, 2014. There will be a Special New Year's Eve performance featuring Champagne and Cake after the show. There are more details in the performance schedule which follows.

THE STORY - The year is 1946. Lt. Foster has inherited a guest inn in the Green Mountains of Vermont currently run by Mrs. Holmes (the housekeeper) and Seth Murdock (the groundskeeper.) The guest inn is hosting famed writer/director Adrian Garson and a troupe of actors in rehearsal for a new Broadway play away from the scrutiny of the Manhattan theatre critics. When one of the actors, leading man Allen Simpson, falls to his death from Eagle Point, Lt. Foster suspects foul play but before he can even unpack, Harry Hunsacker and Nigel Grouse arrive to gum up the works. Will the murder be solved before Lt. Foster loses his sanity? Join us and find out!
