NTPA Repertory Announces Creative Team For THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW Image

North Texas Performing Arts Repertory Theatre is pleased to present this wickedly fun production of The Rocky Horror Show directed by well-known DFW-area talent Rebecca Lowrey with choreography by Christina Kudlicki Hoth. Featuring celebrated names from across the metroplex's professional theatre community, the cast includes Branden A. Bailey as Frank'N'Furter, Joshua Sherman as Brad, Allison Good as Janet, Robert Bradford Smith as Narrator, Jared Culpepper as Riff Raff, Samantha Snow as Magenta, Lindsey Smith as Columbia, Alex Rain as Eddie/Dr. Scott, and Rodney M. Morris as Rocky. The show has an impressive ensemble including Christina Kudlicki Hoth, Stephanie Ormston, Tomas Moquete, Michael Christian, Evan Anderson, and Jonathan Hardin.

The show is accompanied by a live onstage band led by Rebecca Lowrey on piano with Aaron Sutton on guitar, Benjamin Brown on bass, Catherine Conlin on tenor sax, and Ray Rose on drums. Costumes are designed by Hope Cox and set designed by Alex Krus.

The Rocky Horror Show, with book, music and lyrics by Richard O'Brien, has gathered a cult following since its premiere in London in 1973. This dark but humorous rock musical was also made into a film entitled The Rocky Horror Picture Show in 1975. The story is of the fateful night when Brad Majors and his fiancée, Janet Weiss - a wholesome, well-behaved, utterly normal young couple in love - innocently set out to visit an old professor. Unfortunately for them, this night out is destined to be one they will never forget. A thunderstorm and a flat-tire force them to seek help at the castle of Dr. Frank 'N' Furter. The night's misadventures will cause Brad and Janet to question everything they've known about themselves, each other, love, and lust.

The Rocky Horror Show performs October 18-27. Recommended age is 16+ due to mature content.
