NTPA Repertory Announces Cast And Crew of THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW Image

North Texas Performing Arts Repertory Theatre is pleased to present this wickedly fun production of The Rocky Horror Show with a live band and a cast of stage veterans from DFW theatre including Branden A. Bailey, Allison Good, Joshua Sherman, Jared Culpepper, Samantha Snow, Lindsey Kay Smith, Rodney M. Morris, Alex Rain, Robert Bradford Smith, Christina Kudlicki Hoth, Evan Anderson, Jonathan Hardin, Kate Dressler, Michael Christian, Stephanie Ormston and Tomas Moquete.

The creative team is led by Director Rebecca Lowrey and Choreographer Christina Kudlicki Hoth and includes Hope Cox (Costume Design), Alex Krus (Set Design), Greg McKnight (Light/Sound Design) and Daniel Dean Miranda (Production Manager).

This past December, Rebecca directed Plaid Tidings at Theatre Arlington and we are excited to have her at NTPA this fall. A few of her recent credits as music director include The Toxic Avenger (Lakeside Community Theatre) and Putting It Together (ONSTAGE in Bedford). In 2018, she won the Column Award for Best Musical Director - Equity for her work on A Man of No Importance (Brick Road Theatre).

Christina is a native of Carrollton, Texas and has been a competitive dancer for many years and choreographed numerous productions in North Texas. In 2018, she won the Column Award for Best Choreography for Pippin at The Firehouse Theatre and a Column Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Eurydice in Lakeside Community Theatre's Polaroid Stories.

The Rocky Horror Show, with book, music and lyrics by Richard O'Brien, has gathered a cult following since its premiere in London in 1973. This dark but humorous rock musical was also made into a film entitled The Rocky Horror Picture Show in 1975. The story is of the fateful night when Brad Majors and his fiancée, Janet Weiss - a wholesome, well-behaved, utterly normal young couple in love - innocently set out to visit an old professor. Unfortunately for them, this night out is destined to be one they will never forget. A thunderstorm and a flat-tire force them to seek help at the castle of Dr. Frank 'N' Furter. The night's misadventures will cause Brad and Janet to question everything they've known about themselves, each other, love, and lust.

The Rocky Horror Show performs October 18-27. Recommended age is 16+ due to mature content.
