Performing Arts Fort Worth invites you to fall in "love" with the 2013-2014 Performing Arts Fort Worth Season at Bass Performance Hall.

Our Broadway at the Bass season, nicknamed "I Love Broadway!," will feature the regional premiere of I Love Lucy Live on Stage, a time warp that puts you in the audience, circa 1952, during the taping of two of the sitcom's most well-known episodes. Other powerhouses for the Broadway season include the Bass Hall debut of the Tony Award-winning hit Jersey Boys; Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical; Stomp; American Idiot; the first national tours ofGhost The Musical and Nice Work if You Can Get It; Menopause The Musical; and the return of the Blue Man Group.

Our BNSF Popular Entertainment series offers a grab-bag of music, comedy and dance, from the musical prowess of Buena Vista Social Club and Philip Glassto the comedic grace of Bob Newhart to the majestic dance routines of the Dance Theatre of Harlem. Our Family Series at the Bass will feature all-ages entertainment from the likes of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, while the Broadway Off Bass at McDavid series will include the return of audience favorite Tony N' Tina's Wedding, as well as the Fort Worth debut of Spank! The Fifty Shades Parody.

Dr. Seuss' HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS! THE MUSICAL
November 19-24, 2013
The record-setting Broadway holiday sensation, which features the hit songs "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" and "Welcome Christmas" from the original animated special, makes its Fort Worth debut. Max the Dog narrates as the mean and scheming Grinch, whose heart is "two sizes too small," decides to steal Christmas away from the holiday-loving Whos. Magnificent sets (John Lee Beatty) and costumes (Robert Morgan) inspired by Dr. Seuss' original illustrations help transport audiences to the whimsical world of Whoville, while the music and book of Mel Marvin and Timothy Mason breathe new life into this timeless story of the true meaning of Christmas.

GHOST THE MUSICAL
February 11-16, 2014
Relive the iconic and magical moments from the Oscar-winning movie Ghost in a brand-new Broadway musical. GHOST THE MUSICAL features an original pop score from multiple Grammy Award-winners Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard and is adapted from the hit film by its Academy Award-winning screenwriter Bruce Joel Rubin. GHOST THE MUSICAL follows Sam and Molly, a young couple whose connection takes a shocking turn after Sam's untimely death. Trapped between two worlds, Sam refuses to leave Molly when he learns she is in grave danger. Desperate to communicate with her, he turns to a storefront psychic who helps him protect Molly and avenge his death. GHOST THE MUSICAL is, "unlike anything seen on stage before!" (Newsday).
