Your favorite weird and wonderful family comes to devilishly delightful life in THE ADDAMS FAMILY. This magnificently macabre new musical comedy features an original story, and it's every father's nightmare. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family - a man her parents have never met. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday's 'normal' boyfriend and his parents. Come meet the family. We'll leave the lights off for you.

Director Michael Serrecchia says, "THE ADDAMS FAMILY finally brings this famous creepy clan to the stage. The book is a wonderful tale about the various stages of love. The clever score by Andrew Lippa will haunt you, long after you leave the theater."

THE ADDAMS FAMILY stars Michael Robinson (Gomez Addams), Olivia de Guzman Emile (Morticia Addams), Stephen Bates (Uncle Fester), Megan Kelly-Bates (Grandmama), Caroline Ellis (Wednesday Addams), Javier Casanova Jr. (Pugsley Addams), Russell Batchelor (Lurch), Adam Henley (Cousin ITT), James Chandler (Mal Beineke), Mary Gilbreath Grim (Alice Beineke), Michael McCray (Lucas Beineke), Karina Cunningham (Dead Girl/Pugsley Understudy). Ensemble members include Alex Bigus, Chapman Blake, Allison Bret, Magdiel Carmona, Jeremy Coca, Claire DeJean, Chris Edwards, Jennie Jermaine, Colleen LeBleu, Daniel Miranda, Amanda Rodriguez, Rachel Starkey, and Sammy Swim.

THE ADDAMS FAMILY production team includes Director/Choreographer Michael Serrecchia, Assistant Director/Choreographer Megan Kelly-Bates, Musical Director Cody Dry, Stage Manager Tom Ortiz, Administrative Producers Steven Merritt and Jill Stephens, Technical Producers Clayton Cunningham and Dane Tuttle, Lighting Designer Sam Nance, Set Designer Clare DeVries, Sound Designer Rich Frohlich, Costume Designer Michael Robinson, Video Designer Nate Davis, Master Carpenter Kris Hampton, Set Dresser and Properties Dawn Blasingame, Body Mic Operator Blake Kenyon, and Video/Sound Board Operator Rob Stephens.

Feautring a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice (Jersey Boys), and music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa (The Wild Party & Big Fish), THE ADDAMS FAMILY pays homage to the original cartoons and television show. In a prolific career spanning six decades, Charles Addams created several thousand cartoons, sketches and drawings, many of which were published in The New Yorker. But it was his creation of characters that came to be known as The Addams Family that brought Addams his greatest acclaim. With a unique style that combined the twisted, macabre and just plain weird with charm, wit and enchantment, Addams' drawings have entertained millions worldwide and served as the inspiration for multiple television series and motion pictures.

Tickets to THE ADDAMS FAMILY are available now by calling the Irving Arts Center's Box Office at 972.252.2787 or by ordering tickets online at www.irvingartscenter.com.
