Main Street Theater Presents Kids On Stage Fall Open House, 8/21

To kick off the 2010-2011 season, Main Street Theater's Kids On Stage program welcomes kids and families to a fun-filled time at Chelsea Market - it's our Fall Open House, which is FREE and open to the public. The Open House will take place on Saturday, August 21, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Main Street Theater - Chelsea Market, 4617 Montrose Blvd.

For the 5th anniversary of MST's free open houses, Kids On Stage has something special planned: an opportunity for kids and their grandparents to enjoy activities together. Regular visitors will be familiar with our "mini-fair" format in which Kids On Stage teachers lead activities like mask-making, puppetry, dance games, costume dress-up, and improvisation. For this special occasion, Kids On Stage will be including some 20-minute activities specially designed for grandparents' participation, led by Kids On Stage teacher and experienced grandma Marcy Bannor. (Of course parents, siblings and friends can participate as well!) The Kids On Stage Open House has become a tradition that showcases the program's classes and projects for kids of all ages.
