MBS Productions Presents the World Premiere Comedy LOVE, LUST, & LIES

MBS Productions presents the world premiere comedy "Love, Lust, & Lies" by their resident playwright Alejandro de la Costa. The play runs from February 2, 2017 through February 26 2017 at the Stone Cottage Theatre, Addison Conference and Theatre Center, 15650 Addison Road, Addison, TX 75001. Show times are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 PM, with one matinee on Sunday February 26, 2017 at 2 PM. Tickets range from $20 - $23.

There will be a "Chocolates & Roses" show on Valentine's night, February 14th at 8 PM in which every patron gets a chocolates and a rose. Tickets for the "Chocolates and Roses" show are $27. Tickets can be purchased on line at www.MBSProductions.net or by calling 214-477-4942.

"Love, Lust, Lies" tells the story of two college friends, Jay and Jeff, who reunite after having lost contact for over a quarter of a century. Jay, is a retired school teacher from Dallas and he is in an off and on relationship with a younger man. Jeff is married to Audra who he had met back in college. Jeff and Audra reside in Atlanta, but happen to be in Dallas due to Audra's work. Jay invites Jeff over to his apartment for dinner so the two men can reconnect and reminisce about their college days while Audra works, but to his surprise Audra decides to join the two men. To Audra's surprise she recognizes Jay from her college days, since he was her first crush, and is surprised to discover that her husband never mentioned that Jay was his friend. What Audra doesn't know is that Jeff and Jay had a sexual relationship during those years. As the evening progresses and the wine flows, secrets, resentments, and old feelings begin to emerge as the two men reminisce about their past.

This comedic play is rated R due to adult content and language. There is a brief moment of backside nudity.

The play stars Mark-Brian Sonna as Jay, Richard S. Blake as Jeff, and Suzanne Mobarak as Audra. The play is directed by Mike Hathaway, with a sets & costumes designed by Alejandro de la Costa.
