KVPAC Announces Upcoming Productions For April 2009

Here is the list of Upcoming Scheduled Events at the Katy Visual & Performing Arts Center (KVPAC) for the month of April, 2009.
Inspired by the Academy Award winning animated feature, step into Belle´s enchanted world populated with charming characters on stage. When Maurice becomes lost in the woods on the way to the fair, he seeks shelter in an old castle, but the master of the castle is a horrible beast that takes him captive. Maurice's daughter, Belle, must then give up her freedom to save his life. Belle's taming of the unfortunate Beast and his ultimate transformation back into a handsome prince will enthrall audience members of any age.
When: Friday, April 3 at 7pm & Saturday, April 4 at 2pm and 7pm
Where: The Katy Visual & Performing Arts Center, located in the Great Southwest Equestrian Center, 2501 Mason Road #290, Katy, TX 77450
Tariff: Tickets are $7.00/ adult & $5.00/ child and can be purchased ONLINE at www.KVPAC.org. Admission to the matinee performance is free-of-charge to KVPAC members while ticket supplies last (phone reservation required ~ call 281-829-ARTS).
Inspired by the Disney classic. Step back in time to another place and culture full of daring action and hilarious characters, who celebrate honor, courage, and the importance of family. Travel back to the legendary, story-telling days of ancient China with this action-packed stage adaptation of Disney's Mulan. The Huns have invaded, and it is up to the misfit Mulan and her mischievous sidekick Mushu to save the Emperor! Mulan Junior is a heart warming celebration of culture, honor and a fighting spirit.
