The Firehouse Theatre has set auditions for their upcoming production of THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE for December 15-17 and is excited to announce that Janelle Lutz has been cast as Millie Dillmount. Check out the video announcement below!
Lutz is very excited to be returning to The Firehouse Theatre and thrilled to be a part of this show. Recent credits include Doris Walker in Miracle On 34th Street, Ensemble in Creep at WaterTower Theatre, Agnus Two in I Do, I Do at Brick Road Theatre, Nellie Forbush in South Pacific, Liza Elliot in Lady in the Dark both at Lyric Stage and Judy Garland in The Boy From Oz at Uptown Players. She was last seen on The Firehouse Theatre stage portraying Janet Van de Graaf in The Drowsy Chaperone.
The Firehouse Theatre's production of THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE is directed by Derek Whitener with music direction by Rebecca Lowrey and choreography by Christina Kudlicki Hoth. Whitener most recently directed The Drowsy Chaperone and Mary Poppins for Firehouse's 2015 Mainstage season.
The show will officially open on Friday, February 19th at 7:30pm, followed immediately by a post-show reception. Performances will continue through March 6th on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm and Saturdays and Sundays at 2:30pm. Adult tickets are $22, with senior and student discounts available and half-price tickets available on Saturdays at 2:30pm. Group (10+) discounts available by phone.
