President and Executive Producer Wally Jones is thrilled to announce the 2016-2017 Broadway Season at Casa Mañana Theatre.

Casa Mañana boasts its biggest Broadway season kicking off its four-show season with the epic and emotional Jesus Christ Superstar, September 10-18, 2016. The remaining 2016-2017 season is filled with crowd favorites, including the smash-hit musical Million Dollar Quartet, November 5-13, 2016; the powerful classic West Side Story, March 4-12, 2017; and the outrageously fun, Rock of Ages, June 3-11, 2017; Subscribers will also have the chance to see the Apprentice Program's performance of the inspirational Children of Eden, August 5-7, 2016.

A global phenomenon that has wowed audiences for over 40 years, Jesus Christ Superstar is a timeless work of Christ's final days, but seen, unusually, through the eyes of Judas Iscariot. As Jesus' radical teachings are evermore embraced, Judas increasingly questions the enlightened motives of this new prophet, resulting in betrayal. Propelled by a stirring score by Andrew Lloyd Webber with lyrics by Tim Rice, Jesus Christ Superstar dramatizes this series of events with emotional intensity, thought-provoking edge and explosive theatricality. This show is suitable for most audiences.

It's December 4, 1956, and Sam Phillips, the "Father of Rock and Roll," has brought together icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins for one unforgettable night. Million Dollar Quartet, the high-voltage, Tony Award-winning Broadway musical is inspired by the phenomenal true story of this famed recording session inside Sun Records' recording studio. Dive inside this monumental night of rock and roll that explodes off the stage, featuring 21 timeless hits including "Blue Suede Shoes," "Sixteen Tons," "Great Balls of Fire," "I Walk the Line," "Hound Dog" and more! This show is suitable for most audiences.

The world's greatest love story takes to the streets in this landmark Tony Award-winning Broadway musical. Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet is transported to modern-day New York City, as two young, idealistic lovers find themselves caught between warring street gangs: the "American" Jets and the Puerto Rican Sharks. Their struggle to survive in a world of hate, violence and prejudice is one of the most innovative, heart-wrenching and relevant musical dramas of our time. From the first notes to the final breath, West Side Story's powerful and poignant story will captivate audiences. This show is suitable for most audiences.

Looking for a good time in Fort Worth? Rock of Ages is a guaranteed electrifying night of raucous and outrageous fun! It's 1987 on L.A.'s infamous Sunset Strip, where Drew, a boy from South Detroit, and Sherrie, a small-town girl, chase their dreams of making it big and falling in love. Complete with 28 eyebrow-scorching rock anthems like "We Built this City," "The Final Countdown," and "Nothin' But a Good Time," Rock of Ages will take you back to the times of big hair and big bands with big egos playing big guitar solos. This show is suitable for mature audiences.

From the musical theatre greats Stephen Schwartz and John Caird comes a joyous and inspirations musical about parents, children and faith...not to mention centuries of unresolved family business! Adam, Eve, Noah and the "Father" who created them deal with the headstrong, cataclysmic actions of their respective children. Children of Eden delivers a bittersweet but inspiring message: "the hardest part of love...is letting go." This show is suitable for most audiences.
