International sensation Stomp will be seen in two high profile international events tomorrow, Saturday, December 14.

STOMP will perform tomorrow with Brazilian superstar Ivete Sangalo at an event celebrating her 20 years in the recording industry. The two time Latin Grammy Award winner will perform at a live show in Salvador Brazil at the Itaipava Arena Fonte Nova, the stadium that will host the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Ivete Sangalo has sold more than 15 million records as a solo artist and is the leading exponent of a style known as axé music, which combines a variety of Brazilian and foreign influences into a high-octane blend. She has received 14 Latin Grammy Award nominations. Other artists on the bill include Bell Marques, Alexandre Carlo, Alexandre Pires, and Saulo.

STOMP will also be seen on Univision's Teletón USA (USA Telethon) between 11 AM- Noon. The telethon broadcasts live from Miami, New York, Texas, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Puerto Rico to raise money for children with disabilities, cancer, and autism. Last year's telethon was the first ever Spanish language telethon in the United States, and raised more than $15 million to help children's hospitals across the country and to build the first children's rehabilitation center in the US, the Centro de Rehabilitation Infantil Teletón (CRIT).

STOMP, the international sensation, plays New York's Orpheum Theatre in the east village. It is also currently playing in London's West End, and on North American and European tours. STOMP has been an overwhelming success marked by rave reviews, and numerous honors including an Olivier Award for Best Choreography (London's Tony Award); an Obie Award; a Drama Desk Award for Unique Theatre Experience, and a Special Citation from Best Plays, an Academy Award nomination, four Emmy nominations and one Emmy Award.

Visit www.stomponline.com for US information and www.stomp.co.uk for news on the London and European companies. The Orpheum Theatre is located at 126 Second Avenue between 7th and 8th Streets. Tickets are available through www.Ticketmaster.com or at the box office.
