After graduating from Plano West Sr. High School in 2005, Hunter received a full scholarship to Carnegie Mellon's prestigious School of Drama. Hunter has performed in a leading role alongside Catherine Zeta-Jones and Angela Lansbury to sold out crowds for 15 months on Broadway. He also co-starred in the production starring Bernadette Peters and Elaine Stritch until 2011.
