According to the Dallas Theater Center's website, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka has been cast as in the Center's upcoming production of THE TEMPEST as Ariel.
After graduating from Plano West Sr. High School in 2005, Herdlicka received a full scholarship to Carnegie Mellon's prestigious School of Drama. Just two weeks after graduation, he was cast in one of the leading roles in Stephen Sondheim's Tony Award-Winning Revival of A Little Night Music on Broadway with direction by Trevor Nunn. He performed in a leading role alongside Catherine Zeta-Jones and Angela Lansbury to sold out crowds for 15 months on Broadway. He also co-starred in the production starring Bernadette Peters and Elaine Stritch until 2011.
THE TEMPEST also features Chamblee Ferguson, Abbey Siegworth, Lee Trull, Steven Michael Walters, J. Brent Alford, Christopher Carlos, Joe Nemmers, Jerry Russell, Matthew Tomlanovich, John Paul Green, John Dana Kenning, Cliff Miller and David Price.
