Lyric Stage will close its twenty-fifth season with 1951?s Best Musical Tony Award winner, Frank Loesser, Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows' Broadway masterpiece GUYS AND DOLLS, in association with SMU Meadows School of the Arts.

Based on Damon Runyon's short stories set in his mythical New York, GUYS AND DOLLS is a romantic musical comedy involving the unlikeliest of pairings in a world where a roll of the dice seems solve everything. Will the gamble pay off where love is involved?
Frank Loesser's hit filled score includes LUCK BE A LADY, SIT DOWN YOU'RE ROCKING THE BOAT, and the irresistibly infectious title number.
Catherine Carpenter Cox will play Adelaide opposite Andy Baldwin's Nathan Detroit. Janelle lutz is Sarah Brown and Christopher J. Deaton will be Sky Masterson. Nationally syndicated radio talk show host Mike Gallagher returns to Lyric Stage as Nicely-Nicely Johnson. Also in the cast are John Tillman (Benny Southstreet), Mark Oristano (Harry the Horse), Greg Hullett (Big Jule), Joseph Lee Burnam (Rusty Charlie), Sarah Comely Caldwell (General Matilda B. Cartwright), David Fenley (Arvide Abernathy), Colin Phillips (Lt. Brannigan), Justin W. White, Alyssa Barnes, Austin Zhuang, Laura Smolik, Griffin Camacho, Kailey Berry, Jackie Malish, Antonio Rodriguez, Ryan Machen, Lance Jewett, Brett Rawlings, Collins Rush, Matt Flowers, Shannon Conboy, Ally Van Dueren, Cora Winstead, Kate Brimmer, Bailey Poe, and Mackenna Milbourn.
Penny Ayn Maas (director/choreographer) and Sheilah Vaughn Walker (music director/conductor) return to helm GUYS AND DOLLS after their success with Lyric Stage's season opener and first show in the Majestic, THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME. Designers include Randel Wright (scenic) and Julie N. Simmons (lighting).
GUYS AND DOLLS will be Lyric Stage's third Frank Loesser musical. After seeing Lyric Stage's production of her husband's THE MOST HAPPY FELLA, Jo Sullivan Loesser chose Lyric Stage to produce PLEASURES AND PALACES, Frank Loesser's last musical that closed in Detroit on the road to Broadway.
