GREASE, 42ND STREET and More Set for Casa Mañana Theatre's 2012-13 Season

President and Executive Producer Wally Jones has announced the 2012 – 2013 Broadway season at Casa Mañana Theatre. Season tickets are on sale Monday, June 11.

Casa Mañana's 2012 – 2013 Broadwayseason is filled with audience favorites, including: the electrifying rock 'n' roll musical Grease, September 15 – 23, 2012; the toe-tapping classic 42nd Street, November 10 – 18, 2012; the enchanting musical Camelot, March 2 – 10, 2013; and Miss Saigon, the passionate pop opera, August 10 – 18, 2013. Subscribers will have the opportunity to add on the hilarious Greater Tuna, featuring the eccentric cast of characters from small-town Tuna, Texas, August 23 – 26, 2012.

The season kicks off with everyone's favorite rock n roll musical Grease! Put on your dancing shoes and hand-jive to the electrifying hits "You're the One That I Want," "Summer Nights," "Greased Lightnin'" and more. Fall back in love with the T-Birds and the Pink Ladies to see why Grease is still the word. This show has mature subject matter and is not suitable for all audiences.

In the classic musical 42nd Street, charismatic chorus girl Peggy Sawyer gets her big break when she replaces an injured Broadway star. This Tony® Award-winning musical features unforgettable showtunes including "We're in the Money," "I Only Have Eyes For You" and "Lullaby of Broadway." With sparkling dance numbers and old-fashioned romance, this toe-tapping extravaganza has something for everyone. This show is suitable for most audiences.

Go back in time to a kingdom of knights, festivals and magic. Join King Arthur, Queen Guenevere, Merlyn the Magician, Sir Lancelot and the Knights of the Round Table as they take you on an adventure about love and faith, duty and chivalry, and hope and greatness. The romantic Tony® Award-winning musical Camelot, featuring a score full of enchanting songs, is a must-see majestic event! This show is suitable for most audiences.

Tony Award-winning musical Miss Saigon, created by the visionaries behind Les Misérables, features a touching love story told through a series of sensational musical numbers including "Why God Why?" and "The American Dream." This powerful pop opera is an emotional tale about forbidden love, the tragedies of war and the sacrifices made to achieve the American Dream. This show has mature subject matter and is not suitable for all audiences.

Subscribers will have the opportunity to add-on the hilarious Greater Tuna, the first in a series of four sidesplitting plays about Southern life, created by the comedic duo of Joe Sears and Jaston Williams. For more than 30 years the denizens of Greater Tuna, the third smallest town in the great state of Texas, have been making us laugh and cry in this hilarious comedy of small town morals and more. Come visit your favorite Tuna characters: Arles Struvie, Thurston Wheelis, Didi Snavely, the whole Bumiller family, Aunt Pearl, and of course everyone's favorite neighbor, Vera Carp. If you haven't seen Greater Tuna, then this is your chance. This show is suitable for most audiences.
