Frisco Community Theatre (FCT) announces that they have named long time DFW theatre veteran, Neale Whitmore, as their Artistic Director. Whitmore has been working with FCT for 5 years as their primary director for musicals, then joining the Board of Directors last year. His experience spans 30 years as a professional designer and director with several theatre companies around the Metroplex, including staff positions with Dallas Children's Theatre, Garland Civic Theatre, Irving Arts Center and Las Colinas Symphony. In addition to his responsibilities with FCT, he is also currently President of the Board of Directors for Our Productions Theatre Co in Lewisville.
Howard Korn, President of FCT said "Neale has extensive experience in theatre over many years and will make an outstanding contribution to continuing and building on the success FCT has realized in the last several years. We are thrilled for him to assume this new role." Whitmore stated, "This is a great company to work with, I am very excited about helping to create the future for FCT. Frisco is growing and I hope to help FCT grow with it."
