Four Day Weekend 20th Anniversary Show Coming to Bass Hall 3/9

Performing Arts Fort Worth and Sundance Square present Four Day Weekend's 20th Anniversary Show at Bass Performance Hall on Thursday, March 9, 2017, at 7:30 p.m.Tickets are $33-$55 and will go on sale at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 27. A limited number of VIP tickets, which will include a meet and greet with the cast and complimentary drinks and appetizers, will be available for $126.50.

Four Day Weekend's 20th Anniversary Show will feature the award-winning comedy troupe doing what it does best: performing hilarious scenes and sketches created from audience suggestions. The show will also include trips down memory lane. Expect cameo appearances by recognizable characters from the troupe's earlier years, along with the members' own stories and anecdotes about their 20-year journey from unknowns to performing for United States Presidents.

Four Day Weekend is the longest-running show in the southwest. More than 550,000 people have witnessed their on-the-fly comedy sketches in a beautiful 212-seat theater in the heart of Sundance Square.

In addition to four weekly public shows, Four Day Weekend has launched its own four-level improvisation training center; taken on corporate gigs for organizations such as Frito-Lay, Canon, Pfizer and Office Depot; branched out into film and television projects; and is in the process of publishing its first hardback book, Happy Accidents. The book recounts the members' paths to success and shares how the tenets of improvisation can lead readers to fulfill their own dreams.

This critically-acclaimed troupe has traveled overseas to perform for the military and has performed for two U.S. presidents. Additionally, Four Day Weekend has been named a Small Business of the Year and has received the Key to the City of Fort Worth, among other prestigious awards.
