FMPAT is pleased announce Auditions for new students for the 2011 Spring Term. The auditions for openings in our esteemed musical theatre and acting program will be held on Monday, January 24th by appointment only. Openings are filled on a space available basis.

Since 1993 FMPAT's Young Artist Training Program is proud to have been providing professional level training for students interested in pursuing a career in the performing arts. Our program is one of the areas oldest and most unique youth training programs. The audition only program is purposely quite small to afford us the opportunity to offer a very low teacher student ratio. Students are able to work with the areas top teachers and working professionals. We have a wonderful history of producing outstanding young professional performers, directors, producers and choreographers. Fall term includes opportunities for students to work with lead professional teachers/coaches Stephanie Riggs and Mark Mullino.

Auditions: All youth and teen students, ages 7 - 18 must audition for the program. Only a limited number of students will be accepted, on a space available basis. Previous experience is helpful, but not necessary, as the faculty looks for bright, naturally gifted children that are ready to learn and whom take direction well. Our program is unique in offering training for the student who is craving a professional work environment, where they will be challenged constantly to work to the best of their abilities among other young performers with similar goals and dedication.

Information on what to prepare for the auditions, along with other important program information may be found in the YATP 2010-2011 Student Handbook found on the Admissions page in the Children's School section of our website. www.fmpat.org

To schedule an audition, email FMPATheatre@aol.com or call 972-724-0727.

Spring term classes begin on Saturday, January 29. Please make sure to read and familiarize yourself with the program prior to attending the auditions.  Financial Aid is available for families that qualify. It is the goal of the program to not turn away any accepted student due to an inability to pay tuition.

The YATP Program experience is one-of-a-kind. Our young performers achieve & learn more than they ever thought possible and emerge stronger performers and more self confident individuals as a result. We hope to see you at the auditions!

Our students are working professionals with a long history of credits - national tours, regional professional productions, commercials, radio, national television, voice overs, as well as being successful, well rounded individuals. We are proud of our amazing students and programs. Come see why!
