Eisemann Center Presents Page Turner Adventures' production of The Magnificent Circus Mystery on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at 2:30 pm in the Hill Performance Hall at the Eisemann Center. A steamer trunk, a mysterious book, and a hat belonging to Harry Houdini begin a show filled with magic, juggling, unicycling, and physical comedy. The audience must solve clues, overcome obstacles, and figure out a 90 year-old-secret as they help to create the story from beginning to end. Based on a real character, the kids are empowered to write about people and events in their own lives, while discovering how authors develop story ideas.
This outrageous multimedia, slapstick steampunk show features Riley Roam as "Storyologist" Page Turner and former Ringling Bros. clown, Kenny Mikey as a "Storyologist-in-Training." The mystery begins when Kenny and Page discover an unusual trunk that once belonged to a famous vaudevillian named Baldy the Magnificent who disappeared "on this very day" in 1927. The trunk contains Baldy's juggling props, along with a strange book and an old hat that once belonged to Harry Houdini. With help from the Once-Upon-a Time Machine AND the entire audience, Page and Kenny finally discover the real secret of Baldy the Magnificent. Filled with slapstick comedy, magical airships, secret keys, ancient books, curious trunks and a tons of audience interaction, The Magnificent Circus Mystery is perfect for anyone who loves a good mystery.
