Denton Community Theatre (DCT) presents "Christmas at the Campus - 2015" with their production of A Tuna Christmas. Actors Bryan Patrick and Chaston Rankin bring all 22 of the colorful characters to life on the Campus Theatre stage. The production is directed by Amy Jackson.
Vera Carp has won the Tuna, Texas, annual Christmas Yard Display Contest 14 years in a row. This year, however, a mysterious "Christmas Phantom," known for vandalizing the yard displays, threatens to throw the contest into turmoil. Meanwhile, Joe Bob Lipsey struggles to mount his production of A Christmas Carol despite numerous vexations, Stanley Bumiller attempts to end his probation and leave Tuna, while Bertha Bumiller tries to hold her family together for the holiday season. Petey Fisk cautions against exotic animals as Christmas gifts because, among other reasons, "wild hogs have a zero success rate as yard pets". The other colorful residents of Tuna are also on hand to provide holiday hilarity, Tuna style!
