Audiences will be holding their sides from laughing at Denton Community Theatre's production of the comedic bedroom farce Don't Dress for Dinner, running Jun. 5-14.
Written by Marc Camoletti, adapted by Robin Hawdon, and directed by Bill Kirkley, we find Bernard who is married to Jacqueline and tries to set up an intimate dinner party for his mistress, Suzanne. That's about as good as its gets because nothing goes as planned!
When his best friend, Robert (who is having an affair with Jacqueline), shows up for the weekend, Jacqueline decides not to leave town and Suzette, the caterer, is pressed into playing multiple roles to cover both men's tangle of lies. A laugh riot from beginning to end. Don't Dress for Dinner is intened for mature audiences dues to subject matter.
The show features Joseph M. Brown as Bernard, Erin Turek as Jacqueline, Kenny Fudge as Robert, Kathryn Murphy as Suzette, Joanna Lise Ludlow as Suzanne, and Damon Wadyko as George.
