The nonprofit AT&T Performing Arts Center and the City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs announced today that single tickets for Denise Lee: From Annie Mae To Tina will go on sale Monday, February 6 at 10 a.m. Award-winning actress, singer and down-to-earth diva, Denise Lee, will be the first presentation of the Elevator Project 2017 season performing at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Hamon Hall in the downtown Dallas Arts District.

Come and enjoy the songs that transformed the shy Annie Mae Bullock into the rock legend Tina Turner. Cabaret artist Denise Lee takes you on that journey from the very beginning to the height of her career through music and stories of the singer's rise, struggles and triumphs!

The Elevator Project 2017 season continues on March 11 with Max Hartman and Friends followed by PrismCo: Medea Myth: Love's Beginning April 11 through 23 and Fables & Fairytales from Around the World featuring Melody Bell on May 27. The final production, The Danielle Georgiou Dance Group: Donkey Beach, runs June 19 through June 25, 2017. The ELEVATOR PROJECT 2017 season is supported by TACA and Texas Commission on the Arts.

The reimagined Elevator Project will now feature performances from a wide range of disciplines: music, theatre, dance, spoken word and more. Presentations will range from single-night showcases to multi-week runs and will focus on smaller and emerging artists and companies.

"We are so pleased to partner with the OCA on this incredible initiative to bring emerging arts groups onto our campus," said AT&T Performing Arts Center President and CEO Doug Curtis. "This year's participants are just a taste of the diverse and varied lineups to come."

Four of the productions will be staged in Hamon Hall located in the Winspear Opera House and one production (PrismCo) will be staged on the 6th floor of the Wyly Theatre. All shows are general admission.
