Dallas' Newest Theatre Company Puts Females First ImageNorth Texas artists Erika Larsen and Emily Faith announced their Co-Founding of the newest Dallas-based theatre company, Lily & Joan, whose mission is to intentionally and inclusively highlight the female perspective.

Lily & Joan will hold a unique position in the artistic landscape of the DFW Metroplex, with 50% of productions proceeds being donated to local women's organizations. Through a commitment to activism and artistry, this innovative young company will be dedicated to cultivating and sustaining community relationships through the lens of theatre, as well as transforming the narrative surrounding female artists in regard to compensation, union-status and safety.

"Our goal is that Lily & Joan will be a haven" said Erika Larsen, Co-Founder, "where all artists, particularly women and female identifying artists can transform the ever-present narrative of scarcity surrounding artistic opportunities into a narrative of abundance, safety and artistic freedom."
