The Dallas Holocaust Museum/Center for Education and Tolerance is sponsoring the Opening Night performance of the 12-time Tony Award-winning Broadway musical CABARET, at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25. This exciting collaborative partnership between the Museum and the AT&T Performing Arts Center offers sponsor levels with VIP access beginning at $1,000. The "$1,000 Duo Sponsor" receives two premium orchestra seats, pre-show refreshments, post-show "Meet the Cast" Champagne Reception, complimentary valet parking and more. Single tickets start at $125.

"CABARET tells the story of love found and lost under the shadows of 1930's Germany as the Nazis are rising to power," says Mary Pat Higgins, the Museum's President and CEO. "At once a love story and a powerful political commentary, the production remains especially relevant today."

"Powerful and entertaining shows like CABARET stand the test of time because they help us - together -reflect and process a tremendous tragedy through great artistry," said Center President and CEO Doug Curtis. "Working alongside the Dallas Holocaust Museum mirrors this spirit of community, and I hope many North Texans will join us in this experience."

As part of their 50th Anniversary Season, the critically acclaimed Roundabout Theatre Company is presenting Sam Mendes' (Skyfall, American Beauty) and Rob Marshall's (Into the Woods and Chicago, the films) production of CABARET. Playing a two-week engagement at the Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House in the downtown Dallas Arts District, this production is part of the AT&T Performing Arts Center's 2015/2016 Broadway Series season.

The musical features some of the most memorable songs in theater history, including "CABARET," "Willkommen" and "Maybe This Time." CABARET is set in the infamous Kit Kat Klub where the Emcee, Sally Bowles and ensemble take the stage nightly to entertain the crowd and to leave their troubles outside.

Melanie Kuhr Murphy and Jolene Risch are co-chairs for this exciting special event.

Tickets and sponsor packages for the opening night event are limited. Proceeds will directly support the mission and programming of the Museum. For information, call Barbara Acuna-Taylor at (469) 399-5202 or email Events@DallasHolocaustMuseum.org.
