The 15th Annual Out of the Loop Fringe Festival opens February 25 and runs through March 6, 2016. The 11-day festival of theatre, music, dance and visual arts features more than 20 performing artists and companies and includes six world premieres including Diana Sheehan Sings: The Jerome Kern Songbook.
Diana Sheehan has appeared off-Broadway, on National Tours and in regional theatres across the country. She was a member of the New York and Boston companies of the long running satirical revue, Forbidden Broadway. DFW credits include: Grey Gardens, Full Gallop, All My Sons, Putting It Together, Black Pearl Sings, Shooting Star (Watertower Theatre); Arsenic and Old Lace (Dallas Theatre Center); Vanya&Sonia&Masha&Spike (Uptown Players);Two Rooms (Amphibian Stage Productions); Sound of Music (Casa Mañana) and As Thousands Cheer (Lyric Stage). Her cabaret performances have been produced at New York's Triad, San Francisco's Plush Room, Boston's Club Cafe and in Dallas at Sammons Cabaret and Amphibian Stage. Her cabaret shows: Midway, Nobody's Hart and Searching for Gertrude Lawrence have all been featured at the Out Of the Loop Fringe Festival where she was awarded "Best of Loop" 2012&2013 by festival audiences. She is a multiple recipient of the DFW Critics Forum Award as well as the Dallas Column Award.
Festival passes and single tickets to all events are on sale now. Festival Passes are $65. Individual ticket prices for each event are $10. Lobby performances and play readings are free.
