Civic Theatre Names Jonathan Maag Lighting & Sound Supervisor/Tech Dir.

Fort Wayne Civic Theatre has selected Jonathan Maag as Lighting & Sound Supervisor/Technical Director effective January 2012. Most recently Maag served as Technical Director/Lighting Designer for Walsh Jesuit High School in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. Prior to that Maag worked as a free-lance Lighting Designer and Master Electrician with Allenberry Professional Theatre Conservatory (PA) and Cortland Repertory Theatre (NY).

Maag received a B.A. in Theatre Arts with a Minor in Arts Management from Miami University in Oxford, OH. Maag joins Robert Shoquist in Civic Theatre’s production department with Shoquist focusing on Scenic Design while Maag will supervise Lighting & Sound for Civic productions. Maag and Shoquist will share duties as the theatre’s Technical Director.
