Christian Youth Theater (CYT) is hosting their first annual fundraising gala on January 13, 2019, from 5:30 - 9:30 at Dosey Doe Big Barn (25911 Interstate 45 N, Spring, TX 77380). It will be a night of fabulous food and entertainment, and funds raised will help CYT continue to provide top-notch theater programs in the Greater Houston area.
Community support for this inclusive youth theater program is essential. Theater training not only provides excellent entertainment, but also it promotes valuable life skills such as confidence, problem solving, collaboration, accountability, and much more. Additionally, CYT wants to offer even more scholarships to families who would otherwise be unable to participate in theater. CYT Houston Board President, Ari Kogut, explains: "I'm proud to serve an organization which provides opportunities for all children to thrive and where the whole family can attend. CYT Houston never wants any child to miss out on theater arts due to finances. This is why scholarships are so important. Other ways that CYT gives back to the community vary from free performances, free tickets to foster home residents in the Conroe area, and discounted shows for local schools. Your generous contributions allow us to bring this amazing organization into the lives of children in need." Also, as CYT grows, the need for more equipment also grows. This is where YOU can help!
Individual tickets for Boots & Bling start at $65, and corporate sponsorship begins at $2500 per table. Attending will both benefit an outstanding program and be a lot of fun. Shari Wojta (CYT Board member & parent) adds, "I hope you can join us for a night of good food, great atmosphere, and dancing. We're thrilled that Sam Brown's popular band, Brown & Swerve, will be playing. Also, a surprise guest might join us for a song or two. It's going to be an evening of fun to support the arts. You don't want to miss it!"
