Dallas Fan Days™ - one of the best comics, sci-fi, horror, anime and gaming events in Texas - just announced the addition of three new celebrity guests to this year's fall lineup. Dallas Fan Days is set to return Oct. 14-16, 2016, at the Irving Convention Center. Christian Slater, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott will join a multitude of guests ranging from Star Trek: The Next Generation characters to Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D stars.
Slater is well-known for his Golden Globe-winning role on the USA Network's series, Mr. Robot, along with scores of television and iconic movie roles both in blockbusters and cult favorites such as Heathers, Pump Up the Volume, andInterview With A Vampire. This will be Slater's first U.S. convention appearance.
Married couple Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott will also be attending Dallas Fan Days in their first-ever convention appearance. Spelling, known for her breakthrough role as Donna Martin on Beverly Hills, 90210 and husband McDermott, known for his involvement on Chopped: Canada and the television series Due South, are frequent reality television stars and sure to be fan favorites.
"Our goal at Dallas Fan Days is to always give fans the best convention experience possible and always bring something fresh to north Texas," said Show Director Andrew Moyes. "By being the premier US event to welcome these notable celebrities to the convention scene, our fans will have the first opportunity to get up close and personal."
In addition to celebrity appearances, the weekend is packed with exciting family-friendly activities, comic guest artists, costumed characters from television and movies, board and role playing games, an extensive Doctor Who fan space, an interactive Star Wars fan zone, plus 200+ retailers including an artist alley.
