You'll believe a car can fly when CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG makes a 2-week stop in Dallas at MusicAl Hall at Fair Park, beginning Tue., Jun. 23 through Jul. 5.

Based on the MGM/United Artists Motion Picture, the enthralling adventure of CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG, the magical car that sails the seas and flies through the air, has been a family favorite since the original motion picture captivated the world's imagination in 1968.

Chitty's eccentric inventor, Caractacus Potts, and his children, Jemima and Jeremy, join the truly scrumptious Truly Scrumptious and kooky Grandpa Potts in outwitting the dastardly Baron and Baroness of Vulgaria in their attempt to steal the flying car for themselves.

With music from the songwriters of Mary Poppins (Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman) and book by Ian Fleming, creator of the James Bond franchise, CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG. is everything you could want in a musical - and more: dazzling sets, an irresistible story and the soaring sensation this is CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG.

Come see the flying car that Edge Magazine Boston calls "a technical feat up there with the helicopter in Miss Saigon and the falling chandelier in The Phantom of the Opera".

Showtimes Tue-Sun is 8 pm with Sat. & Sun. matinee performances at 2 pm. There are special matinee performances on Thu., Jul. 2 at 2 pm, and Sat., Jul. 4 at 1 & 5:30 pm. There will not be a Sat. evening performance on Jul. 4.
