Cassidy Crown Confer Now Assistant Executive Director of Plano Children's Theatre

Plano Children's Theatre is pleased to announce the promotion of Cassidy Crown Confer to the position of Assistant Executive Director. Cassidy has been with Plano Children's Theatre for ten years most recently serving in the role of Program Manager.

"Cassidy has such a wonderful track record in directing that she will continue to produce big shows with us," says Sara Egelston Akers, PCT Founder and Executive Director, "This change will allow her to work on some new program offerings and focus on significant theatre improvement projects."

Cassidy will also be leading activities to open new PCT theatre locations in North Texas.

Cassidy holds a degree in Vocal Performance from Baylor University with a focus in Opera. While attending Baylor, she studied and performed abroad in Italy. Cassidy has been a director with Plano Children's Theatre for the past ten years. In 2012 she took on the role of Program Manager.

"I am very excited to be helping with the growth of this wonderful theatre" says Cassidy Crown, "I look forward to assisting our new managing directors in accomplishing their goals".

"We are pleased to promote Cassidy into this significant new role, and know she will be a difference maker for us going forward" says Darrell Rodenbaugh, PCT Board President, "This is a big move for us to enhance our quality to make the Plano Children's Theatre experience for our students and patrons even better."
